Drug Awareness - Level Two
This one-day course is for those professionals who need a deeper insight into the range of treatments available to drug users, and the approaches taken by different treatment agencies. There is a requirement to have undertaken the Level 1 course before attending this training course and it is primarily for those that are heavily involved in working with drug users (e.g. Counsellors, Key Workers, Social Workers)
This course is mapped to the following DANOS (Drug & Alcohol National Occupational Standards) units:AA3; AB5; AC1; AD1; AF1; AF2; AI1; AI2.

Basic Alcohol Awareness
This one-day basic awareness course is intended for any local worker whose role brings them into contact with clients who may be using alcohol inappropriately, without necessarily having a role in their treatment (e.g. GP receptionists, teachers, police, foster parents, home care assistants).
This course is mapped to the following DANOS (Drug & Alcohol National Occupational Standards) units: AA1; AA3; AC3; AD1.
