I am a carer to a drug user. What can I do? What kind of support is available for me?
Most substance misuse agencies will only accept self referrals from drug and alcohol users. Therefore, you will need to keep encouraging the person that you are concerned about. However, Croydon CDA will accept self referrals from family members, friends or carers of those with a substance misuse problem/issue.
However, weather or not the person you care is engaged in a service, you can expect some support and advice from all drug and alcohol services in Croydon.
